Glimpse Inside a Miami Reality T.V. Star Couple’s Divorce and Learn More about Divorce in Miami

DivorceMoney4

There is no doubt that compared with the era of our parents and grandparents, the topic of divorce is certainly less taboo these days. Indeed, while some marriages stay together for the long run, it seems these days that many individuals in Miami know more divorced couples than married ones. The thing about divorce, too, is that it can affect any type of person, and it does not discriminate. Divorce affects just about any type of person, and any type of couple may find themselves splitting up, even if they said their vows and truly thought they meant them. From rich to poor, and from the average everyday person, to famous reality television stars and celebrities, the truth is that divorce is not rare, and people in Miami and throughout the U.S. are often more interested in the ins-and-outs of a divorce decree or divorce settlement, than they are about mulling over antiquated topics like the morality of divorce. Recently, Miami reality T.V. star and personality Lisa Hochstein finalized her divorce with her ex-husband, Lenny Hochstein. To help Miami couples and those potentially seeking divorce better understand how a high-net-worth divorce settlement looks in Miami, we discuss the Hochstein divorce settlement here.

The Ins-and-Outs of a Divorce Decree in a High-Net Worth Divorce in Miami

According to news reports on the ex-couple’s finalization of their divorce, Lisa Hochstein and Lenny Hochstein had been married for 13 years before Lenny filed for divorce in 2022. The couple announced their split to the public in May, 2022, at the same time of Lenny Hochstein’s initial divorce filing. According to the divorce decree that was signed by a Miami judge, the couple had entered into a divorce settlement agreement that they hammered out earlier in June, 2023, and had negotiated a parenting plan for their two young children, Logan and Elle, this last November. The divorce decree, accordingly, sets forth that Lenny must pay Lisa $15,000 per month in child support, and $10,000 per month once Logan, who is now 8 years old, turns 18 years old. The Miami judge also ordered the couple to follow the terms of their divorce settlement and their parenting plan in the final divorce decree. The Hochstein divorce is just one example of how a finalized divorce might look, especially when a high-net-worth couple is involved.
